B. Wise Vineyards, Based in Sonoma, Welcomes Visitors for a Unique Napa Valley Experience
NAPA, Calif. (October 12, 2021) – Brion Wise, owner of BRION and B. Wise Vineyards, is pleased to announce his new tasting experience, the B. Wise Loft. Nestled in a cozy corner on the second floor of BRION’s restored 1876 ‘bank’ barn – one of two in California – the B. Wise Loft represents a unique wine experience in Napa Valley, entirely separate from the BRION offerings in the first fashionable cellar of the cellar tasting room on the ground.
Overlooking the famous Sleeping Lady Vineyard just south of downtown Yountville, customers can now sample the famous B. Wise portfolio of Sonoma-centric wines without having to cross the Mayacamas.
“Our new B. Wise Loft serves as a bridge between B. Wise’s Sonoma base on Moon Mountain and BRION’s Napa Valley estate,†said Wise. “Most people who travel to the wine country only go to Napa or Sonoma. The B. Wise Loft allows visitors to Napa Valley to experience the best of both valleys in a perfect wine setting.
B. Wise Vineyards is a label that brings together the best of Sonoma and Napa vineyards. Guests visiting the B. Wise Loft are currently greeted with a tasting of the 2017 B. Wise Chardonnay from Nobles Vineyard in Fort Ross and toured the extraordinary property adjacent to the famous Sleeping Lady Vineyard. Once guests are guided upstairs to the second floor of the barn – the B. Wise Loft has a separate entrance to distinguish the experience from that of the BRION Tasting Room – they are seated around a table in glass on a large wooden reel surrounded by old barrels on one side and postcard views of the vineyard on the other. The traditional American barn aesthetic includes a living room adjacent to the table with an upholstered leather sofa, antique rugs, and lounge chairs facing a faux fireplace, all inspired by Brion’s many tasting trips through the rustic countryside Italian. Guests then receive two Pinot Noirs from a single Sonoma vineyard as well as two Cabernet Sauvignon, Domaine B. Wise and TRIOS. A sample of expertly matched local cheeses, almonds and crackers are also included with each tasting experience.
Designed by Wise’s female interior designer, Ronda West Wise, B Wise Loft is located on the second floor of the BRION Bank Barn at 5537 Solano Avenue and is open for limited tastings by appointment only.
