Mici Italian (Mici), a fast-growing family-run chain based in Denver, Colorado, opened its first location in Arizona, bringing its brand of fresh, family-style Italian dishes outside of Colorado for the first time. Mici’s new restaurant is located in the Gilbert, Arizona community at 5498 South Power Road Suite 101 Gilbert, AZ 85295.

The Gilbert location is the first restaurant to launch the recent Mici brand refresh, with an all new look. The 1,700-square-foot restaurant has 40 seats for indoor dining and dedicated pickup and delivery stations; it has 65 seats on the terrace as well as catering and delivery to an area of approximately 21,000 households.

The eighth and newest establishment joins the successful line of family-run, affordable Italian restaurants that focus on authentic Italian recipes using natural, unprocessed and clean ingredients.
The menu features Mici’s all-natural artisan pizzas, in a variety of combinations that include family favorites like The DiGirolomo (named after the family’s great-grandfather), topped with olive oil, nitrate-free pepperoni, pepperoncini, gorgonzola and mozzarella; and The Vela (named after nieces Miceli Sofia and Francesca), with olive oil, family recipe sausages, ricotta and mozzarella. Pizzas are available in 10″ and 16″ sizes, with do-it-yourself and gluten-free crust options available.
The pasta offering includes traditional spaghetti and meatballs, with matriarch Miceli Rosalie’s marinara and family recipe meatballs; Tortellini alla Miceli, which is patriarch Jerry’s favorite, and includes Parmigiano-Reggiano cream sauce, Prosciutto di Parma and green peas; plus other family favorites like creamy pesto and hearty cortonese, a Tuscan meat sauce over penne pasta.
The menu is complemented by a range of fresh salads and Dolce—Mici offers artisan ice cream from Phoenix Villa Dolce Gelatoas well as authentic Italian cannoli from the famous Pastry La Rosa in New Jersey, known as the “King of Cannoli” in the United States – and a selection of Italian wines and beers. The delivery radius is approximately three miles with 21,000 households included in the zone. Mici Italian also offers catering for events large or small, casual or formal, for business or pleasure.
