Portlanders can now to buy tickets at the premiere of Portland’s Summer of Feast events. Tickets for Feast Flicks, outdoor movies accompanied by meals by Portland chefs, are now available in capsules for two and four, along with welcome cocktails and bottles of wine.
Between July 29 and August 1, the Lot at Zidell Yards will host four movie nights, accompanied by specific meals by Portland chefs. Customers can book tickets ranging from $ 120 to $ 135 per person, which include admission to the film, a vegetarian or omnivorous meal, welcome cocktails and wine, with VIP options as well. The first, the dreamer of Alfonso Arau Like water for chocolate, will begin with a meal by the team of the Mexican restaurant República, with a presentation of the moles before the film. On July 30, the teams behind Chinese restaurant XLB, mochi donut pop-up Heyday and Southern Thai Fried Chicken mainstay Hat Yai will cook a meal to accompany Ang Lee’s classic. Earlier this month, Feast organizers Mike Thelin and Emily Crowley announced that they will be bringing Feast back this year, but the two wanted to approach the event a little differently. “When we started looking at bringing Feast back in 2021, we started reaching out to the bosses, talking with them about bandwidth… and everyone seemed to be like, ‘Here we are! “People failed to see each other and collaborate… We thought, ‘Why don’t we do small events during the summer?
