Wine and Food Week kicks off with events all week at The Woodlands

The 2022 Wine & Gastronomy Week kicked off the evening of Monday, June 6 with a VIP launch event at The Butler House located at 23931 Gosling Rd.

Sponsors, partners and VIPs gathered on the patio to raise a glass and celebrate 18 years of wine and food at The Woodlands. Attendees enjoyed paired tasting stations with experts from Houston and around the world and received a special thank you from Constance McDerby, Founder and Co-Producer of Food & Vine Time Productions and Wine & Food Week.

It’s been three years since Wine & Food Week has returned with a full week of events and now features a whole new lineup of events. With hundreds of wines, celebrity guests and new culinary faces, attendees can enjoy one of the best wine and food events in the region.

Discover national and international wines at wine tastings, tastings for the ladies of the vine, luncheons and round tables, new events such as Grapes & Games, Wine Around the World Wednesday, Rose ‘Way: A Sweet Soiree and For the Love of Texas, all culminating in an elaborate Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase, including the Bayway Cadillac Premium VIP Lounge.

The Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase will take place this Saturday, June 10 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Ballroom where acclaimed chefs compete for the coveted GOYA Foods cook of cooks Reward with a Waterford Crystal Trophy and $5,000 cash prize. Those looking for that extra VIP touch can purchase tickets to the luxury Bayway Cadillac VIP Lounge with specialty wines.

During the toast and kick off of the Wine Rendezvous Grand Tasting & Chef Showcase, Wine & Food Week will honor the memory of Cleverley Stone, known as the “Diva of Dining” and longtime friend of Food & Vine Time Productions. Stone was an icon of the Houston restaurant scene with hundreds of television interviews, The clever showand founder of Houston Restaurant Weeks.
