ROSEMARY BEACH – A four course meal can be truly enjoyed when paired with the right wines. And a local rooftop restaurant has invited a guest representing Napa Valley and Sierra Foothills wineries to take an upcoming wine dinner to the next level.
The Courtyard at Pescado, 74 Town Hall Road, has invited Rombauer Vineyards Southeast Sales Manager Jeff Papa for a wine dinner to be held at 6:30 p.m. on February 3. Dinner will include a welcome wine and four wine pairings from Rombauer selections.

Tickets are $155 plus tax and 22% gratuity.
“Jeff has been in the wine business for over 25 years and believes he has been selling Rombauer wines for about as long,” said a press release announcing the dinner. Starting out as a bartender in upstate New York, he quickly developed his love for sharing selections by accepting a position as a sales rep for an upcoming wine. He then continued to “take all the courses he could, gradually asserting that a career in wine was what he wanted to pursue”.
After years of managing various wine businesses and groups, Papa received a call in 2010 from Rombauer Vineyards to represent the company as Southeast Sales Manager. He did not hesitate to seize the opportunity.
“I’m a salesman at heart, and the family aspect is fantastic,” he said of family-run Rombauer Vineyards. “It’s something I want to do until I retire.”
Affiliated with Winebow Fine Wines and Spirits, the dinner will also include a cash bar beginning at 5 p.m. for diners. The dinner menu was not immediately available.
Chef Ken Duenas will offer an eclectic four-course meal that will pair perfectly with Rombauer wines. Guests are guaranteed a high-class experience as the meal unfolds from the rooftop view over the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
The Courtyard at Pescado is a garden courtyard and lounge that offers small bites, craft cocktails, and an extensive wine list. It is located under the Pescado Seafood Grill and the Rooftop Bar. To purchase tickets, email [email protected].
