This Flower Mound home features a basketball court, wine cellar and outdoor entertaining areas

This home has lake access, plenty of outdoor entertaining areas, a pool, and an upstairs patio with stunning views.

Situated on 2.08 acres of land in Flower Mound, the house is huge. It has 14,360 square feet of space with five bedrooms, six bathrooms, and two powder rooms. Amenities include a basketball court, wine cellar, elevator, guest bedrooms, two outdoor kitchens and more.

Listing agent Jim Striegel of JPAR Flower Mound said the house has Italian influences, including front doors imported from Italy. The house has lots of detail throughout. The beams along the kitchen ceiling are hand painted, Striegel said, and there is a Murano glass chandelier. There are also hand painted murals throughout the house.

“Not many people put crystal chandeliers in the kitchen,” Striegel said.

The home was built in 2010 and is part of The Landing on Lake Grapevine community. An aerial view of the house at 1904 Bayshore Drive shows the property’s proximity to the lake.

On the main level of the house you will find the kitchen, the dining room, two living rooms, the dining room and a library or office, depending on the listing. The lowest level of the home has a nearby wine cellar and entertaining area. The house has a hand-carved marble fireplace, wood paneling throughout and a hand-carved ventilation hood over the hob and AGA stove, according to information provided by listing agents. The guest suite or “mother-in-law suite” is on the first level, according to the listing.

The other four bedrooms in the house are on the second level. The master suite includes a spacious bedroom, his and hers bathrooms and two walk-in closets. There is also a living area, an entertainment area and a gym.

The house has several patios for outdoor entertaining, including one on the third level where Striegel says you can see the Dallas skyline on a clear day. Up a few more steps, there’s bonus space on what could be considered the house’s fourth level, co-listing agent Vanessa Brandt said. There are two outdoor cooking areas, one by the pool and another closer to the house. The property also has a cabana and pool house, according to the announcement.

The home is on the market for $11,900,000 and is co-listed by Jim Striegel and Vanessa Brandt of JPAR Flower Mound.
