Sam’s Club partners with Drinks to offer home wine delivery

Sam’s Club partners with the online alcohol delivery platform DRINKS to provide online wine purchase and delivery to customers, starting with Member’s Mark wine from the Sam’s Club brand. The partnership makes Walmart-owned Sam’s Club the first warehouse retailer to offer door-to-door wine delivery service in multiple states.

Starting Friday, October 8, Sam’s Club members in 16 states will have access to the service, allowing them to order Member’s Mark wines on SamsClub.com and have them shipped right to their doorstep. The initial launch will feature nine Member’s Mark varietals in those 16 states and Washington, DC, including some regions that currently do not have access to these member-favorite wines.

States included in the launch are California, Connecticut, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, North Dakota, Oregon, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming. Additional states and wines will be added to the service early next year.

“From rich Cabernet Paso Robles to fresh Italian prosecco, from smooth Chardonnay Sonoma to delicate French rosé, there is something for every palate in the diverse assortment of Member’s Mark wines,” noted Brian Hillins, Senior Director of Merchandising at Sam’s. Club. “Our merchants take great care in preparing our selection, scouring the world to find popular grape varieties from high quality vineyards. And now, with our direct-to-door sales offering, more members in more locations will have access to our much-loved assortment.

Order requests can be placed on SamsClub.com or through the Sam’s Club app. Members can choose from sets of 6 and 12 packs organized according to their preferences. The price for wine sets ranges from $ 7 to $ 10 per bottle, and shipping is a flat rate of $ 6 for orders of six bottles and $ 9 for orders of 12 bottles.

• Member Mark Moscato d’Asti

• Member’s Mark Côtes de Provence Rosé

• Member’s Mark Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc

• Member Mark Lodi Old Vine Zinfandel

• Member Mark Mendoza Malbec

• Member’s Mark Sonoma County Pinot Noir
