Resorts World Sentosa will recognize the world’s greatest wines at the second edition of the Wine Pinnacle Awards with a specially curated program and new award categories

SINGAPORE – Media outreach – September 6, 2022 – Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) will again present the Wine Pinnacle Awards in a second edition of the October 28 to November 1 2022.

After debuting in 2019, this year’s program is entirely new and has been meticulously curated to distinguish the awards as Southeast Asia’s largest and unparalleled wine festival for oenophiles. As the world’s premier wine awards based solely on nominations, this event will recognize the world’s best wines and wine professionals, representing the opinions of 61 jury members from around the world – including Masters of Wine, Master Sommeliers, wine professionals and luminaries and the illustrious five-member technical committee headed by Ms. Jeannie Cho Lee, Asia’s premier wine master.

The Wine Pinnacle Awards are a pioneering award that considers wines from all regions with no restrictions of origin and no entry fees. An esteemed panel of master sommeliers, wine masters and leading critics are brought together in an expert jury, responsible for naming the most deserving wines.

Wine connoisseurs can rejoice at Master class experience October 29-30, 2022 – where Technical Committee members Ms. Jeannie Cho Lee and Mr. Doug Frost lead deeper conversations in a series of masterclasses for potential investors, featuring hidden gems of the wine world, including Henschke , Maison M. Chapoutier, Château Haut-Brion , and Tempos Vega Sicilia.

Every day from October 28-31, 2022, the resort will host decadent wine events where guests can partake in carefully curated tastings. Wine and Dinner Sessions. With special Champagne brunches and bespoke dinners featuring vintages from prestigious vineyards such as Château Angélus, Château Margaux and Château La Mission Haut-Brion, guests can be sure of a memorable gastronomic adventure. On October 31 and November 1, 2022, the delegates of the Wine Industry Symposium will discuss a more dynamic future for the wine industry by addressing key topics like new areas of economic growth and the impact of climate change with wine professionals from all sectors. There will also be panel discussions with the world’s thought leaders – including Ms. Karen MacNeil, author and wine; Mrs. Prue Henschke, Director of Henschke and Mr. Jamie Ritchie, Global Chairman of Sotheby’s Wine.

Concluding the five days of celebration of prestige and innovation in the world of wines, the Gala Dinner and Wine Pinnacle Awards Ceremony on November 1, 2022.
