Destination Winery celebrates a milestone occasion with an evening, tasting room specials, a summer picnic program and a summer music series.
OLIVER, British Columbia (June 27, 2022) – The winemaking team of Domains of Phantom Creekthe renowned destination winery in the Okanagan Valley, is thrilled to announce the 25e anniversary of their award-winning Phantom Creek Winery, plus a host of events and exclusive offers to celebrate the occasion. Established in 1996 by pioneering winemaker Richard Cleave, the Phantom Creek Vineyard is consistently recognized for producing some of the finest red wines in Canada, including Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah.
Located on the lower terrace of the southwest-facing Black Sage Bench, the Phantom Creek Vineyard is perched slightly above the valley floor, ensuring full access to the warm afternoon sun. The vineyard’s well-drained sandy soils are the result of waterways that have slowly deposited nutrient-rich sediments over thousands of years. Wines from this eight-acre site have won more than 85 awards in recent history.

To celebrate the 25e anniversary of Phantom Creek Vineyards, the winery is hosting a series of celebratory events that launched in May this year and will run through September, including a monthly dinner series focused on Phantom Creek Vineyard in the Red Ferment Room de la cave held on the last Wednesday and Thursday of each month. Multi-course gourmet dinners will be accompanied by wines from Phantom Creek Vineyard, and a member of the winemaking team will be on hand to educate guests. Additionally, the winery will host special weekly walking tours and tastings in the vineyard and offer guests the opportunity to elevate any wine tasting experience in the tasting room to include samples of wines from Phantom Creek Vineyard.
To continue the festivities, the winery will host a special Evening in Red event on Saturday, July 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Guests are asked to wear red while enjoying a unique tasting experience featuring a variety tasting stations, a pig roast and live music from the local band, the Rann Berry Band. Tickets are priced at $150 per person or $100 per person for wine club members and can be purchased through this link.
The winery is also launching a new summer picnic offer which is available daily and is BYO (bring your own) coverage. Reservations are required for the summer picnic, and bottles of wine and charcuterie platters are available for purchase to enjoy in the outdoor lounge and winery amphitheater. Finally, the winery will host a summer music series every Friday, May 20 through September 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. with live music in the amphitheater featuring local musicians.
