A group of Wimberley locals bring comfort food by the creek with a sophisticated Texas twist to the burgeoning town of Hill Country. Located under the trees and overlooking Cypress Creek, CreekHouse opens TODAY, Friday July 16 in Wimberley Square at 14015 RR 12.

Boasting an all day menu, which includes brunch, lunch and dinner; CreekHouse aims to bring a modern touch to privileged traditions. The menu consists of high comfort food such as Roasted Creole blue crab fingers; gulf coast oysters; Boil the Low Country shrimp; Charcuterie from the South; Queso with green chili; Hot Bites of Honey Chicken Biscuits; Creole nachos with homemade fried pork rinds; NOLA BBQ shrimps; Mexican street tacos; and other signature dishes like Hilly beef brisket ramen and Southern fried quail knots.

CreekHouse will also feature a wide selection of Texas-brewed beers, fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails that complement the robust flavors of the menu.

The CreekHouse design is meant to evoke the nostalgic feelings of a weekend spent on the river, with a modern and fresh feel. The vision for the space is to create a place where families, friends and locals come together to enjoy great food while enjoying a large patio overlooking Cypress Creek. CreekHouse has a large outdoor patio and an outdoor Silo Bar, making it the perfect place to relax in Hill Country.

The CreekHouse concept was born out of a group of local friends who wanted to bring a new culinary option to the Wimberley scene. The perfect partnership presented itself with Executive Chef and Culinary Director Mark Grimes. Grimes brings unparalleled talent and experience to the table, with a 30-year career in the hospitality industry, spanning an experience of 100 successful concepts across the country and Europe. After years of pursuing his passion for food and traveling the country working on one exciting concept after another, Mark has finally planted his roots in Wimberley, Texas with his wife Kimmie and they have no plans to leave. so early.

We created CreekHouse out of love for our hometown of Wimberley. We wanted to bring a vibrant place for locals and townspeople to come celebrate, relax and slow down. We believe there is no better reason to get together than for great food, friends, and live music, and no better place than Wimberley, TX.
