On Sunday afternoon, Nutwood Winery hosted their outdoor event, “Music in the Vineyard”. There were concerts by Baylee Waller, Aaron Gibson, WINOS and The Vegabonds, as well as several food and craft vendors. Guests also enjoyed wine slushies, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options.

According to Nutwood Winery co-owner Neil Liechtenstein, his company started hosting “Music in the Vineyard” events this year. This was the third of the year.

“We just decided because of its popularity to do it in July, August and September. So it will be six Sundays a year… It will be the last Sunday of each month, ”Liechtenstein said in a previous interview.

Vendors and organizations attending the event included Holloway’s Pork Skins, Sparkle’s Cookies, Butter’d Udder, Beacon Brewing Co, Smokin Mo’s Barbecue, Seafood Claws Market, Drive-By Tacos, Ressa’s Unique Boutique, Holcombe Hand Pours, Plunder, Mallory Agency, Kia de LaGrange, Bubble Lee Balloon Art, The Mind Clothing and Pine Sap Pottery.

The event’s sponsors were Kia from LaGrange, Mallory Agency, South State Bank and Rob Upchurch with RE / MAX, according to event co-organizer Amanda Sugermeyer.

According to Trish Liechtenstein, co-owner of Nutwood Winery, the event ended a bit early due to the rain.

“I thought it was great. It was great fun, it was a beautiful day, [we] had a great time, great vendors, great food, ”she said.
