Stellenbosch has an impressive reputation for stunning wineries and we are fortunate to have these gems on our doorstep. From picturesque landscapes to exquisite wines, Stellenbosch serves all that is spectacular on a silver platter.

Here are four wineries serving special dinners and tastings this week:

Celebrate Chenin Blanc at the Jordan Estate

Jordan Estate Restaurant does everything in the light of Wine Town Stellenbosch. Dinner will be hosted by Wine Chef Jeff Grier, with Wine Authority Michael Fridjhon as special guest, and guests can look forward to enjoying a 4-course dinner composed by Chef George Jardine.

For each dish, a different Chenin Blanc will be served, presented by the winemaker. Participating producers include Villiera Wines, Jordan Wine Estate, Cavalli Estate, Delheim Wines. One lucky guest will have the opportunity to win a set of the 2021 Chenin Challenge Top 10 winners, worth R2,500.

Old Vineyard Experience at De Warenmarkt

A tasting ? Yes please! Discover the exclusive nature of old vines during the Old Vine experience at De Warenmarkt. The old vines bring another dimension and a new character that tells the story of the land, culture and history.

La Cap Classique Celebrates 50 years at Simonsig

To celebrate Cap Classique’s 50 golden years, the Cap Classique Producers Association and the Simonsig estate have joined forces to offer Cap Classique lovers a great day out in the vineyards of Stellenbosch.

Discover and explore Cap Classique while discovering the beauty and serenity of Domaine Simonsig. 20 Cap Classique producers will present over 50 wines to taste, showcasing a variety of Cap Classique styles and each ticket holder will also receive a special Cap Classique gift bag.

Wine in the city of wine

Relax under the old oak trees while listening to The Schalk Joubert, Albert Frost, Blake Hellaby & Jonno Sweetman Quartet and savor a delicious meal from the Farm Kitchen.

Stroll through the beautiful vineyards and visit the former Shiraz vineyard block planted in 1977 while tasting the fruit of this wine by “loco”.
